Facing your fear we choose compassion. Hearing your despair we choose hope. Seeing your ignorance we choose understanding.

Below is the extraordinary story of the boatmen who came forward and helped people caught in the 9/11 disaster. They did not know what had happened and did not know if they would be safe. Nearly five hundred thousand people were rescued in less than nine hours. It is a compelling video. Cindy Knoke (of CindyKnoke.com) renamed it “The True Nature of Humanity”. Vincent Ardolino, Captain of the Amberjack V, said at the end: “I never want to say the words ‘I should have’. If I do it and I fail, I tried. If I do it and succeed, better for me. And, I tell my children, never go through life saying you should have. If you wanna do something, you do it”.
The idea that we can’t make a difference is a deceit perpetrated by those who profit from the inhibiting effect.
The goodwill, that wishes a better world for others, is unstoppable because it keeps on being born. No matter how slow progress has been, it has gradually prevailed over centuries. No matter how great the struggle, it has shown itself to be indomitable and so will eventually defeat all. It is the true nature of humanity and it is a privilege to be part of it.
Just one thing, just do one thing and smile that you made a difference and that you are part of human evolution.
London Climate Rally Photographs 2015
They came and they came and there was easily more than 50,000. There were old-uns and young-uns , teenies and tweenies. I hadn’t seen so many join together for a long time and it was inspiring and heart warming.
One People, one Planet and one Purpose.
And every now and then a roar would arise and it would travel along the rally like a Mexican wave.
And they sang.
And they rocked.
And they drummed.
And they danced.
And Towser (has to be a Towser) thought it was mellifluous.
And they wore costumes.
And they brightened the day.
And they were serious.
Every one of them. And, every day there are more.

Stop the Bee Killing
UK GOVERNMENT IS PERMITTING THE THE USE OF NEONICOTINOIDS, despite them being banned in Europe. These chemicals kill bees and other pollinators. A link to the PETITION/info is below. Please pass it on. Avaaz successfully stopped there use in Europe. Please help them stop there use in the UK.
