The Temple Church
16 pics – The Temple Church dates from 1185 and can be found amidst the Temple Court. More pictures of the Temple Court and how to find it here⇐.
Flowers of the Temple Court here⇐,
Admission to the Temple Church here⇒ (do check for admission dates/times) and its History here. It has some of the most intricate stained glass that I have ever seen and there are pictures further down.
These are four separate windows.
This place really looks like a great work of art …
Incredible architecture and beautifully captured too 🙂

My word that stained glass is beautiful. I, however, think I am more smitten with the arches and domed ceilings. Amazing.

I’m glad you enjoyed. I’ll add arches and domes to my shopping list. Oh dear, I don’t think my baskets big enough. 🙂

This and our American/British spelling converstation brings to mind: in the American south, what I was raised to call “shopping carts” (or simply “cart”) is called a “buggy.” Do you refer simply to a basket or is “basket” also colloquial for “cart?”

Here baskets are carried but carts have wheels. Buggies have wheels but only children in them.
P.S. Whats “shopping” . 😀
