Orchids at Kew Gardens
Orchids in the Hot House at Kew Gardens
7 pics. Hot house is not an overstatement and is also very humid so be prepared to carry clothing. These are just a sample, there are also many other exotics and cacti. Also at Kew; Kew Gardens and Kew Palace.
Hey, hey we’re the Monkeys. It’s worth a click-on for full screen and another click to magnify. 🙂
There are more orchids here
Was it humid in there? One part of the Duthie Park winter gardens is so hot and humid that I find it unpleasant. The photos are terrific as always.

Very. The hot house proceeds from hot and dry to hot and humid. It gets a bit much after a while. Although exotic butterfly houses are worse.
Thanks, although some photographs were no good (the lens steamed up) 😀

Winter has arrived a good two full weeks (maybe more) earlier than normal. But temperatures aren’t yet horrible, and the snow is piling up. As long as temps don’t drop significantly, we’re on our way to a fun ski season 🙂
